ChrestoresA Chrestor is a 'useful person'. In Zartianism a Chrestor can also be known as 'a saviour'.A Chrestor is someone who consciously strives to do good, to help other people as individuals in need and to support the good functioning of the collective life of a society. A Chrestor seeks to develop and improve themselves so that they can be more useful to others and to the whole. Three things, at least, they need to develop in themselves are: Eunoia (Good Thinking), Euthymia (Good Spiritedness) and Magtas (Mightiness or Capability). SarokresisSarokresis or sometimes Sarochresis is Usefulness achieved through the process of listening and responding to need (Kreia) and motivated by the desire to see the object of need to flourish. It is what Zartians seek to attain in their work to become good and effective Chrestors or Saviours and change the world for the better. The concept of Sarokresis is sometimes expanded into seven elements: 1. Kresis (or sometimes Chresis) - Usefulness; 2. Saritas - Listening/Harkening (paying attention and responding); 3. Humanitas - Good Mindedness; 4. Rectitas - Righteousness; 5. Magtas - Mightiness; 6. Gnosis - Deep Knowledge; 7. Societas - Alliance; updated Apr 4026 ZHE |
