Chrestorism

Chrestorism is about 'doing Good'. It is the bringing about of Kresis - the satisfaction of Kreia or need. It means playing your part in bringing about Pantothalia - the flourishing of all.

To be a good Chrestor you need first to go through a process of Chrestification in order to develop the abilities and inclinations which will enable you to be effective.

For convenience we can distinguish three different approaches a chrestor may take:

1. To be a leader and play your part in Sociogenesis (the bringing into being of new communities), and/or to manage those communities once they are up and running.

2. To perform a particular job that is needed to enable a society to function or to function better.

3. To assist those who are in most trouble or who are least able to help themselves to have a better life.
