Anghotria

The Anghotria point to three essential aspects of existence:

Zurvan

Zurvan is the ground of being, the expanse of time and space. It can either be unlimited or limited. It is considered essentially passive.

Atmanus

Atmanus is the active feeling spirit-being which inhabits Zurvan and is both the source of activity and the receptacle of experience within it.

N.B. Atmanus is the origin of Vaius 'the Doer' and the ultimate cause of Drasis - or 'Doing'.

Agatha

Agatha is the 'Passive Good' . She is both the Ultimate Good, what is 'good-in-itself' and also the 'Ideal Good'.

Agatha has a 'twin sister' Kaka who is the 'Passive Bad'.

N.B. The story goes that Atmanus is desirous of Agatha and seeks Her out. To do so he adopts the character of Agathus the Active Good. Agathus comes in many forms - in particular as the Agathoi ('the Good Ones') led by Auramazda - the Wise One - source of all creation.

Sometimes we consider that the third person here should be Agathia (Goodness) which is a quality of activity which ranges from Good to Bad. i.e. Agathia can be imagined to have two daughters: Agatha and Kaka.
