The Mithraic Path

The Mithraic Path is the path of formation of Mithraic Societies who worship Mithras and perform a common ritual together.

Mithraic Societies are typically Mithraic Brotherhoods, but there may be associated Mithraic Sisterhoods who worship Anhita, the partner of Mithras,

The primary point is to build solidarity between men, so that they become a team who trust each other and can work on common projects together.

There is currently no established ritual for Zartian Mithraic Societies, so they will need to be developed.

Inspiration should be taken from Zoroastrian Fire Temple Ritual primarily, but also perhaps from Roman Mithraism, Christian practice, Masonic practice or Neo-Pagan practice.

Zartian Mithraists should seek to develop the Mithraic Society as a whole and its individual members as agents of the Good, in whatever capacity is most needed or is most suited to them.

Mithras is the divine being who brings a group of people into an ordered life together. Mithras is thus the god of society, and especially those societies than cannot rely solely on the instinctive good will of close family for their good functioning, but need common rules to be agreed and upheld and common cultural practices.
