Anghotria

The Anghotria point to three essential aspects of existence:

Zurvan

Zurvan is the ground of being, the expanse of time and space. It can either be unlimited or limited. It is considered essentially passive.

Atmanus

Atmanus is the active feeling spirit-being which inhabits Zurvan and is both the source of activity and the receptacle of experience within it.

N.B. Atmanus is the origin of Vaius 'the Doer' and the ultimate cause of Drasis - or 'Doing'.

Agathia

Agathia is 'Goodness' which is a quality which ranges from Good to Bad. Agathia is made up of a mixture of two elements in varying strengths and proportions. These are Agatha or 'Passive Good' and Kaka or 'Passive Bad'. Agatha is both the Ultimate Good, what is 'good-in-itself' and also the 'Ideal Good'. Kaka is what is bad in itself.

N.B. The story goes that Atmanus is desirous of Agatha, the Good Daughter of Agathia, and seeks Her out. To do so he tries to adopt the character of Agathus the Active Good. However things can go wrong and he can become Kakus, the Active Bad instead and end up with Kaka.

Agathus comes in many forms - in particular as the Agathoi ('the Good Ones') led by Auramazda - the Wise One - source of all creation.
